Plant-Based Mushroom & Applewood Tart

Step one:

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Step two:

Cook the mushrooms in olive oil for 10–15 minutes until caramelised, adding soy sauce early on.

Step three:

Place the pastry on a tray and score a border around the edge.

Step four:

Spread the cream cheese inside the border, then top with Applewood and mushrooms.

Step five:

Brush the edges with plant-based milk.

Step six:

Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and crisp.

Step seven:

Finish with parsley and serve.
